It should be pretty clear since yesterday that I support House of Lords reform but there are obviously problems with the bill in its current form. Unfortunately even if Labour stop playing cynical politics and support the government, there are aspects of it (such as fifteen year terms) which will need to be tweaked in future parliaments.
